Jack Jackson page 40 Los Tejanos 1982

Jack Jackson, aka Jaxon 1941 - 2006

Libertad!

Jackson's homage to the revolution in Texas carries with it a synopsis of all the racial animosity and racial harmonies that existed in Texas while its people dealt with war, tyranny, and the influx of settlers from the East.

More historical in its narration than Jackson's earlier "Comanche Moon" effort, Los Tejanos still showed off Jackson's juggling acto of facts, mini-bios and humor, all within the grand context of a national history.
