Frank Robbins "Wisdom of many, the wit of one"

House of Mystery #228
Dec - January 1974-1975
Published by DC Comics, Copyright DC Comics

Robbins slides into the Bernie Wrightson mold without much problem, though whereas Wrightson was gesturing toward a Graham Ingels (with a sprig of Jack Davis tossed in) effect, Robbins is leaning on Milt Caniff. The twain do not really meet except in the mode of atmoshere that Robbins uses, whichw as standard House of Mystery fare in the 1970s for the book.

Did Robbins wince when he saw the color treatment his artwork received from the printer?
