Frank Robbins Batman Art - Page 12

Detective Comics #420

I get the feeling much of Robbin's style is a result of his speed. it is also a detriment, for example in the third panel which shows a bizarre anatomy mistake on the villains right arm: probably the result of Robbin's inking over his own rushed pencils and not having really solved for the body position. Nonetheless, the Batman figure itself is well developed and shaded with the heavy inky slabs that Robbin's excelled at.

"Your reign of terror is over, Trevor!"
